About Me

My name is Sadie Robertus, and this is my very first blog! I guess I'm behind on the times, but I've been too caught up in reading, playing my saxophone, running, and enjoying life, family, and friends to really care or notice. However, I'm excited to make my first few baby steps into the digital world, and I invite you to join me along the way!

Obviously, my blog's title is "Unwriting The Paradigm." "Unwriting" means "to erase," and "paradigm" means "pattern" or "model." After coming to college, I was forced to confront my belief patterns and models that I held unquestioned for so long. Some ideas I had to let go, but others became even stronger. Sometimes when I sketch, I must erase my lines because the entire perspective is off. Other times I erase the drawing and then realize that the erased image was indeed what I wanted. In that case, I can usually find the remnants of my previous sketch marks and retrace them with a firmer hand. Whatever situation you find yourself in, I hope my blog will challenge you; I also appreciate comments that would challenge myself. So let us grab our erasers and get going!

  1. What a fun atmosphere in this movie. I particularly liked the last thirty seconds. :)
